Favorite Event/Tournament: Gold Rush Steel Tip - My first steel tip tourney, and only one of two that happen in the whole state so it’s something to appreciate
Dart Career Highlights:
🏆 Winning PPD Nationals- Division 1 with Jake Smith.
2nd year ever playing darts and won a SD State title in doubles
🏆 3rd place at the Rust Belt Royale, now this tourney I got the pleasure to run and commentate on a Stream for the whole event and getting to peel away and play some darts. Definitely a highlight.
Most memorable moment you have from playing darts: Teaching and helping people about their dart set ups, techniques, and mental. Helping people is what I always strive for anytime I’m at a dart board, next to winning that is.
Current Ranking: Probably Bum status depending who ya talk to 😂😂 Smiths can agree with that.
Headphones: No
Your go-to song:Dangerous by Royal Deluxe or oops!By Yung Gravy
Superstitions: Always have to match somewhat with my colors. Always have to wear a cutoff shirt under my dart jersey.
Do you have a practice routine or favorite practice game: 3 dart movement. Triple, Bull, Triple up and down the board. Like 20, Bull, 19. Then 18, Bull, 17. Then 16, Bull, 15. Then do it backwards.
Before a tournament or big match, what is your warmup routine: Usually 2-3 mixed drinks and some laughs. Headphones in for a little bit and Chuck some arrows at the board.
Can you share some words of wisdom for new players? Be patient. Takes time to be good, don’t rush it and never stop having fun. We’ve all got day jobs
What is something you wish you’d see more of in darts?More development for new dart players getting in the sport.
